Plug-inUse TadoLocal heating controls in Home Assistant
This integration connects Home Assistant, a smart-home server, to an existing TadoLocal server on your network. It adds room controls, temperature and humidity sensors, heating status and battery warnings, with local event updates. Its climate code includes cooling controls for Smart AC Control zones.
Install and configure AmpScm/TadoLocal before adding this integration through HACS, the community integration installer. The connection from Home Assistant is local, but TadoLocal still uses tado’s cloud for metadata and some schedule commands. Open issues report failed climate changes and incomplete schedule-resume behavior.
tado limits free use of its API: about 100 requests a day without Auto-Assist (20,000 with it), though some accounts still get 1,000. Check your account's rate-limit headers.
