Self-hostedTrack room readings and device health in Prometheus
This exporter reads tado° cloud temperatures, heating state, humidity, battery condition and device connectivity. It serves metrics for Prometheus, a monitoring database, without the rule controller or Slack bot in the author's larger Proteus toolkit.
Run its container on Linux and authorize tado° through a browser. Each metrics scrape causes cloud requests, and the README says the exporter does not automatically reduce requests when the quota is exhausted.
tado limits free use of its API: about 100 requests a day without Auto-Assist (20,000 with it), though some accounts still get 1,000. Check your account's rate-limit headers.
