Plug-inBring hot water, AC and tado extras into Apple Home
Homebridge Tado adds tado heating, hot water, AC and presence controls to Apple Home through Homebridge, a smart-home bridge you run yourself. It reads and controls classic tado zones through the private cloud API.
Install the plugin and approve its device-code sign-in, then select the zones and extra controls to expose. Cloud access and a carefully chosen polling interval remain necessary, and tado X is explicitly unsupported.
tado limits free use of its API: about 100 requests a day without Auto-Assist (20,000 with it), though some accounts still get 1,000. Check your account's rate-limit headers.
