Plug-inUse tado rooms and settings in ioBroker
This adapter connects tado rooms to ioBroker, a smart-home automation server. It reads classic heating and AC data through tado’s private API and has a separate Hops implementation for X room controls.
Install the adapter, approve device-code authorization and configure its request budget. The maintainer considers the published 100-call free allowance impractical for normal polling, and a reported multi-home cache bug can mix zone identifiers.
tado limits free use of its API: about 100 requests a day without Auto-Assist (20,000 with it), though some accounts still get 1,000. Check your account's rate-limit headers.
