Read appliance data and manage hub drivers

SmartThings CLI reads device capabilities and current status from Samsung’s official API and can save the results as structured files. It also sends supported commands and manages scenes, routines, virtual devices and Edge drivers. A fridge may expose compartment setpoints or door state, but only the capabilities returned for that exact device are available.

Install it on a Mac, Windows or Linux computer and sign in with your Samsung account. Ordinary appliance reads and commands use Samsung’s cloud; a hub is needed for Edge driver management, local virtual devices and hub logs. The CLI cannot create a local connection to a cloud-only appliance.
