Plug-inFridge doors and appliance states in Home Assistant
This integration brings Samsung fridge door states, temperature settings and any reported compartment temperatures into Home Assistant, a home automation server you run. It also exposes supported laundry, cooking, dishwasher, air-conditioning and hub-device capabilities through Samsung's official cloud API. You can use those entities to build your own alerts and automations.
Connect your Samsung account to Home Assistant and authorize the devices. A SmartThings hub is unnecessary for Wi-Fi appliances, but hub-connected accessories still need their hub. Available readings vary by appliance, and Samsung cloud access remains necessary for updates and commands. Samsung announced a paid API transition from October 2026; check the current access terms before setup.
