Use local bed presence for home automations
SFenton's sleepypod Core fork adds its own bed-presence detector and tools to record and replay the measurements behind each decision. It reads local capacitive and piezo sensor signals, then supplies presence to Home Assistant, Apple Home, the local interface and automatic shutoff.
You need a rooted compatible Pod, which means opening it and wiring a serial adapter to its circuit board as in sleepypod Core's guide, and this fork's development release. The added detector expects named capSense and piezo streams; older sensor formats fall back to the inherited detector or mark presence unavailable. Fork-specific occupancy accuracy has not been independently validated.
