DashboardRun the Pod with local schedules and a web app
Free Sleep runs on the Pod and provides a browser interface for temperature, schedules, vibration alarms and settings. It reads the local hardware socket and sensor files, with optional biometric estimates stored on the Pod.
Installation requires root access, usually by opening the hub and connecting a serial cable; Pod 5 first needs setup in Eight Sleep's app. Everyday controls need no membership or internet, but Pod 3 owners report timeouts and alarm limits, and HRV and breathing estimates are unvalidated.
