Control and track the Pod on your home network
sleepypod Core replaces the Pod's cloud controller with a local web app, scheduler and biometric processing. It reads the Pod's hardware socket and sensor data, and can connect to Home Assistant, a home-automation server, Apple Home and AI assistants.
You need a Pod 3, 4 or 5 that you root yourself, which means opening it and wiring a serial adapter to its circuit board (the project has a guide), plus access to its local network. It keeps the stock low-level firmware, its biometric outputs are estimates, and an open report describes a firmware reload loop on SD-card Pod 3 units.
