Run a local operating system on an SD-card Pod 3
podd provides a local operating system, control daemon and browser interface for a Pod 3 with an SD-card i.MX hub. It drives the internal controllers directly and supplies local schedules, MQTT home-automation messages and biometric estimates.
You need a compatible hub and a computer to build the software, plus either existing root access or a spare microSD card swapped in after physically opening the Pod. Swapping the stock card back reverts it. Installation starts in dry-run mode; no-SD Pod 4 and MediaTek hubs are unsupported, while biometric validation and some update paths remain incomplete.
