Scrypted Ring
Plug-inView your Ring cameras and events in Apple Home
Scrypted Ring connects Ring cameras and alarm accessories to Scrypted, a home camera server. It reads live video, snapshots and events through Ring’s private cloud API and can pass supported cameras to Apple Home.
You need a Scrypted server and your Ring account. HomeKit Secure Video recording needs an Apple home hub and iCloud+; it does not need Ring’s recording plan. Keep prebuffering off, because the maintainer warns that persistent streams can stop motion events and drain batteries.
- Connect your Ring to your smart home
- HomeKit Secure Video through Scrypted’s HomeKit plug-in
- Supported Ring alarm sensors in Apple Home
