ioBroker Ring
Plug-inSave event clips and automate Ring in ioBroker
This adapter adds Ring doorbell and motion events to ioBroker, a home automation server. It can request a live video session, save that session as a local file and capture snapshots through Ring's private cloud API.
Install it from ioBroker's adapter repository and sign in with a Ring refresh token. Live-session recording can work without Ring Protect, but it remains cloud-dependent and does not recover missed events or replace continuous local recording.
