fhempy Ring
Plug-inRead Ring device health in FHEM
The Ring module for fhempy adds camera and doorbell metadata, battery and Wi-Fi health readings, and supported volume controls to FHEM, a home automation server. It signs into Ring’s private cloud API through the pinned Python Ring library.
Basic device health does not require Ring Protect, but the current motion and doorbell event handler fails because it reads fields missing from that library. Live video and snapshot retrieval are disabled in the source, so this draft covers limited status integration only.
