Plug-inBuild SmartThings appliance flows in Node-RED
These nodes add SmartThings devices, status checks, commands and event triggers to Node-RED, a visual automation tool you can run yourself. They call Samsung's official API and let you connect exposed appliance capabilities to your own flows. The source includes a reusable webhook SmartApp template.
Install the published Node-RED package and choose its device-token or webhook setup. The simple device-token route has no refresh implementation, while newly issued SmartThings personal access tokens expire after 24 hours. A webhook flow needs an authorized app and reachable endpoint, and neither route removes Samsung cloud dependence.
