Plug-inSpeak automation messages on HomePod
TTS Ultimate adds spoken announcements and audio-file playback to Node-RED, a visual automation tool. Its HomePod output sends audio over local AirPlay 2 and can address several speakers.
Install the node on a machine that can reach your HomePods. Local recorded messages can work without a speech service; generated voices may use an external provider, and previous HomePod music is not resumed after an announcement.
