Apple TV & HomePod for Homey
Plug-inUse HomePod playback in Homey automations
This Homey app reads HomePod playback information and controls music over the local network. Homey, a home automation hub, can pause playback, change volume, repeat or shuffle, and send an audio URL through its Flow automations.
Use a local Homey running version 12.9 or later and discover the speaker on the same network. A HomePod mini owner reports that starting a URL resets the chosen volume, and this route does not expose HomePod temperature or humidity sensors.
- Use it in your own smart-home automations
- Play your own music and audio on it
- Keep your audio and control on your own network
- Playback Flow actions
- Now-playing dashboard widgets
- Audio URL playback
