Music Assistant AirPlay
Plug-inPlay your music library and announcements on HomePod
Music Assistant is a music server that combines your own files and supported music services. Its AirPlay provider sends audio directly to HomePod and can expose playback controls and announcements to Home Assistant, a home automation server.
Run Music Assistant on an always-on Linux host or through its Home Assistant app. Apple Music is optional, and the provider cannot turn HomePod power on or off; AirPlay playback and groups depend on the speaker software and local network.
