openHAB Hue Emulation
Plug-inControl openHAB lights over your home network
openHAB Hue Emulation makes lights and switches in openHAB, a home automation server, appear as a Philips Hue bridge to your Echo. The Echo sends lighting commands directly across your home network.
You need openHAB on the same network, reachable on port 80, and must enable pairing while discovering devices. Discovery and support for colors or switches vary with Echo firmware; voice recognition still uses Amazon’s cloud.
- Use it in your own home automations
- Expose light groups and scenes
- Use existing openHAB items
