Plug-inExpose Home Assistant devices to Alexa over Matter
Home Assistant Matter Hub turns entities in Home Assistant, a self-hosted home automation hub, into Matter devices that Alexa can control. The bridge includes an Alexa controller profile and sends device-control traffic across your home network.
You need an Echo with Matter controller support and an IPv6 network that passes discovery traffic. Some Echo firmware rejects the bridge’s development certificates, and voice recognition still depends on Amazon’s cloud.
