Plug-inEcho playback and announcements in Home Assistant
Alexa Media Player brings Echo playback, volume, track information and spoken announcements into Home Assistant, a home automation server. It signs in to Amazon’s private Alexa service and exposes the features reported for each device.
Install the integration through HACS, a community integration manager, and sign in to the Amazon account that owns the Echo. It keeps Amazon’s cloud in the path, and authentication or playback-state changes can interrupt automations.
