Tapo: Cameras Control
Plug-inControl cameras and keep their recordings in Home Assistant
Adds Tapo cameras, doorbells and chimes to Home Assistant, a home automation server. It reads live video and SD-card recordings directly from the camera or hub, and exposes supported controls, motion events and doorbell presses. Recordings can be browsed or copied to your own storage.
Set up the device in the Tapo app first, then enable Third-Party Compatibility and provide the local camera account and TP-Link password requested by the integration. No Tapo Care plan is needed. Battery and solar models use direct streams and lack motion events when they do not expose ONVIF.
