Thingino
FirmwareRun cameras with local firmware and standard streams
Thingino replaces the camera firmware with a local video and control system. It provides RTSP streaming, a web interface and integrations such as ONVIF and MQTT without a Wyze account or Cam Plus. Recordings can stay on the camera or on your own recorder.
The image must match the processor, image sensor and Wi-Fi chip, including variants sold under the same camera name. The project recommends its ciao branch for ordinary use; master uses experimental components and recommends serial-console recovery skills. Doorbell functions and newer experimental camera builds need separate checks.
- Use cameras without Wyze’s cloud
- Record to your own server
- Use cameras in home automations
- Local ONVIF and MQTT
- Local web interface
- Firmware backup and recovery
