Homebridge Tapo Camera
Plug-inUse Tapo live video and controls in Apple Home
Adds Tapo live video, motion notifications and camera-control switches to Apple Home through Homebridge, a server that connects accessories to HomeKit. Video and controls travel over your local network using RTSP, ONVIF and Tapo’s private camera API. Privacy, alarms, status lights and detection settings can become Home automations.
You need a Homebridge host and both the Tapo account password and the camera’s separate streaming account. Enable Third-Party Compatibility in the Tapo app before setup. Some cameras need FFmpeg settings adjusted, and this plugin does not download SD or Tapo Care recordings.
