Alexa Devices connects Echo controls, announcements, timers and available sensors to Home Assistant, a home automation server. It signs in through Amazon’s private service and combines polling with supported push events.
Add the built-in integration and use an Amazon account with authenticator-app two-step verification. Amazon can rate-limit requests, and the entities available depend on the features exposed by each Echo.
