Plug-inControl Home Assistant devices with Alexa
The Alexa Smart Home integration exposes devices and scenes from Home Assistant, a self-hosted automation hub, to your Echo. Amazon sends smart-home commands through a custom Alexa skill and an AWS Lambda relay to your Home Assistant server.
The manual route needs an Amazon developer account, AWS and a public HTTPS endpoint for Home Assistant. No Home Assistant Cloud or Alexa+ subscription is required, although AWS usage may incur charges.
