Bring heat-pump and hot-water settings home
This component uses ESPHome, a firmware builder for small boards, to connect a supported Samsung heat pump to Home Assistant, a home automation server. It reads the wired NASA bus and exposes heating, hot-water controls and supported measurements on your local network.
You need an ESP32, an RS-485 adapter and a supported MIM control board. It needs no SmartThings hub or Samsung cloud connection. Older NonNASA systems are excluded, and allowed field-setting values differ between control boards.
