Self-hostedSend local events into SmartThings hub automations
Edgebridge sends HTTP messages from devices on your local network to SmartThings Edge drivers on your hub. A compatible receiving driver can turn them into motion, presence, contact or temperature events for routines. This local route needs no Samsung API token.
Run the Python server on an always-on Windows, Mac or Linux computer and install the receiving driver on a SmartThings hub. Requests forwarded to internet services still need those services. The relay does not make Samsung Wi-Fi appliances locally controllable or stop their outgoing traffic.
