SmartThings Edge Drivers contains Samsung's hub integrations for Zigbee, Z-Wave, Matter and local-network devices. The drivers turn messages from connected devices into readings and controls for SmartThings routines. Owners can modify a driver and install it on their own hub.
You need an Edge-capable SmartThings hub, a Samsung account and the SmartThings CLI, a command-line setup tool. Support depends on the exact device fingerprint and the hub's radios. These drivers do not replace the cloud connection of an ordinary Samsung Wi-Fi fridge.
