EchoLocal for Home Assistant
Plug-inManage repurposed Echo devices in one dashboard
This companion adds EchoLocal device dashboards, custom wake words, tones and turn history to Home Assistant, a home automation server you run. It reads local device controls and services, with browser calls to compatible Echo Shows staying on the local network.
Install the companion through HACS, a community integration manager, after the EchoLocal firmware setup is complete. It needs Home Assistant 2026.8 or later, and its author warns that entity names, card configuration and dashboard layout can change.
