Install OTA updates from your own server
Custota is an Android app that installs A/B OTA updates from a server you choose, or from a local folder. Paired with avbroot, it installs updates signed with your own key, so a rooted Pixel with a re-locked bootloader can update without reflashing by hand. It checks only the configured server.
It installs as a Magisk or KernelSU module so it can run as a system app, and needs Android 13 or newer. On Pixels the Settings app's update shortcut still opens Google's updater. Initial setup needs an unlockable bootloader; avbroot supports relocking it afterwards. Verizon-sold Pixels can't unlock the bootloader.
