APatch
AppRoot by patching the kernel, with modules
APatch is a root solution that patches the Android kernel image. It supports modules like Magisk's (APM) and modules that inject code into the kernel (KPM). Its README lists support for ARM64 kernels from 3.18 to 6.12 and requires CONFIG_KALLSYMS and CONFIG_KALLSYMS_ALL in the kernel.
You need an unlocked bootloader, which erases the phone, and a computer with fastboot. Google's GKI default config sets KALLSYMS_ALL, which covers Pixel 6 and newer. Verizon-sold Pixels can't unlock the bootloader.
