Command lineRoot a Pixel while keeping the bootloader locked
avbroot patches Android A/B OTA images and signs them with your own keys. It can add root and re-sign the boot and system images, so you can lock the bootloader again with your own key in place and still install later OTAs. It targets Pixel-style devices and its README covers the Pixel 11 series' newer key type.
You need a computer with fastboot, an unlocked bootloader to install it the first time, and a careful read of the README's warnings: leaving OEM unlocking off while rooted can hard-brick the phone. Verizon-sold Pixels can't unlock the bootloader.
