AppleMusicThing
Plug-inControl Apple Music and read live lyrics
AppleMusicThing shows Apple Music playback, album art and synchronized lyrics on the Car Thing. A browser extension reads the player inside your signed-in music.apple.com tab and sends controls through DeskThing on the same computer.
You need an Apple Music subscription, Chrome or Edge, and the computer running throughout playback. The extension is installed manually, and its use of Apple's private web-player interfaces can break when Apple changes the website.
- Use other music services
- Word-timed and line-timed lyrics
- Dial volume and seek controls
- Apple Music web-player playback
