AppUse AirPods 4 head gestures on Android
Androidpods reads AirPods battery and wear state over Bluetooth and adds widgets, notifications and automatic play/pause. On validated non-ANC AirPods 4 it also displays head motion, uses nods and shakes for calls, and plays a local earbud-finding chime.
The alpha APK requires Android 16 or newer and was tested with a Pixel 9 Pro XL on Android 17. Other listed models have recognition and ear-state profiles only; noise-control writes, charging-case sounds and the Apple Find My network are not implemented.
- See earbud and case battery levels
- Pause audio when you remove an earbud
- Use head movement and sensors in other apps
- 50 Hz head-orientation viewer on AirPods 4
- Answer or decline calls with head gestures
- Local earbud-finding chime
