LibrePods
AppUse AirPods controls on Android and Linux
LibrePods brings AirPods controls to Android and Linux, including battery status, noise control and supported ear detection features. It connects to the earbuds over Bluetooth and exposes features that ordinary Bluetooth pairing leaves out.
Android support depends on the phone software: many devices need root and Xposed, while specific newer systems support most features without root. Advanced spoofing features still need root, and the Linux rewrite is a prerelease with incomplete features. Find My and head-tracked spatial audio are not provided.
- Control AirPods from Android
- See earbud and case battery levels
- Pause audio when you remove an earbud
- Change listening modes without an iPhone
- Switch between Apple and non-Apple devices
- Use head movement and sensors in other apps
- Adjust hearing assistance from Android
