AppKeep Volt battery readings and trips on your phone
Volt Tracker reads a Volt through a Bluetooth OBD-II adapter and saves readings and GPS routes in a database on your Android phone. It shows battery, trip and charging information, with exports and backups you can keep yourself.
Install the Android APK and plug a compatible Bluetooth Classic adapter into the diagnostic port; no OnStar account or plan is needed. The author checks it against a 2017 Volt, and the feature matrix distinguishes real-car readings from simulated or unverified features.
The charge target supplies an estimate and notification, not a command to stop charging. Optional trouble-code clearing and experimental vehicle controls can send commands to the car, so keep these separate from ordinary logging.
