Self-hostedBring OnStar readings and controls into Home Assistant
OnStar2MQTT reads your car through GM's private OnStar API and publishes the results to your own MQTT message broker. It can add fuel, tire, range and charging readings to Home Assistant, a home automation app, and expose supported remote commands. Home Assistant can retain readings as history.
You need a US or Canadian OnStar account, a server or the Home Assistant add-on, and service covering the requested features. That service may already be included with your vehicle; otherwise an eligible paid plan is required. Sign-in can require a Firefox token helper, and available readings and controls depend on your vehicle and GM's API.
