Run Tesla commands directly over Bluetooth
Tesla's own tesla-control command-line tool reads vehicle data and sends signed commands over Bluetooth. Once its key is paired, local use needs no Tesla account login, Premium Connectivity or Fleet API fees.
You need a Mac or Linux computer within Bluetooth range and a key card to approve pairing. The same repository includes a proxy for signed Fleet API commands, which requires developer setup and metered API usage. Legacy Model S and Model X cars built before the 2021 refresh cannot use its Bluetooth command protocol.
