ESPHome Tesla BLE
Plug-inControl your Tesla from home over Bluetooth
ESPHome Tesla BLE connects an ESP32 board to your car over Bluetooth and exposes charging, battery, locks and climate controls to Home Assistant, a platform for home automation. It reads the car locally and sends signed commands without Tesla's cloud or Fleet API fees.
You build the board's firmware with ESPHome, a tool for configuring small connected devices, and pair it with your car using a key card. The board needs power, Wi-Fi and a place within Bluetooth range; the project uses one board per vehicle. Flashing changes the ESP32, while the car only gains a removable paired key.
