Use M.2 drives for a DSM storage volume

This script prepares eligible M.2 drives as a storage pool on documented DS923+ and DS920+ DSM builds. You then create a volume in Storage Manager to store files instead of using those drives only as cache.

Creating the pool erases the selected M.2 drives and requires root access. Keep verified backups and match the exact reported DSM build. Updates can leave the pool unavailable until it is assembled again or the separate drive-database script is reapplied.
