scanservjs
Self-hostedUse your scanner from a browser on your network
scanservjs runs on a Linux computer and gives its SANE-connected scanners a web interface. Scan from another computer or phone, preview pages and save images or searchable PDFs without installing a scanner app on every client.
The server must already discover the scanner through a compatible SANE backend. Network models use sane-airscan; the Canon MG2550S uses the PIXMA USB backend. The Lexmark CX532adwe route follows its advertised AirScan support, so verify discovery and a test scan before relying on it.
- Use your scanner with Linux apps
- Keep scans on your own network
- Scan without the maker’s desktop app
- Browser scanning
- Multi-page documents
- Optional text recognition
