Command lineReuse legacy wireless contacts without an ADT panel
rtl_433 can receive supported older Honeywell 5800 and DSC wireless sensor broadcasts directly with a software-defined radio. It outputs contact, tamper and battery information as local JSON or MQTT data, so those sensors can be reused without an ADT panel or plan.
You need a compatible radio receiver, the correct frequency and the identifiers of your own sensors. This is passive sensor reception rather than alarm-panel control, and it does not establish support for encrypted PowerG, SiX or ADT+ sensors.
