Self-hostedRun supported appliances without LG’s cloud
Rethink replaces the ThinQ cloud connection with a server on your own network. It sends supported fridge setpoints, door states and other appliance readings to Home Assistant, a home automation system, through MQTT.
You need local DNS control, an always-on Linux server and a listed appliance profile. Setup also needs an Android device or a Linux computer with Wi-Fi. Many fridge profiles have preliminary support, and LG cloud features stop unless you enable the optional bridge.
