Plug-inFridge, laundry and appliance sensors in Home Assistant
SmartThinQ LGE Sensors brings fridge door state, temperature settings, filter readings and supported appliance controls into Home Assistant, a home automation hub. It uses LG's private app API, with model-specific readings and controls.
You need appliances registered to an independent LG account and this custom integration. LG's cloud remains required, and the default five-minute polling interval can delay alerts. Owners report temporary account blocks and update failures; browser login is an alternative to the direct password path that uses a retired endpoint.
