ESPHome LG AC Wired Controller
FirmwareControl compatible LG air conditioners locally
An ESP32 board connects to a compatible LG air conditioner’s wired-controller port and exposes its controls to Home Assistant, a home automation system. Settings and status travel over the local network and the wired bus without LG’s cloud.
You must build or obtain a board and connect it to an indoor unit that supports the documented 13-byte protocol. This does not cover fridges, portable or window units as a class, and settings such as the display light are not available through the wired interface.
