Build visual automations directly on your CCU3
RedMatic runs Node-RED, a visual automation editor, directly on a Homematic CCU3. Its CCU nodes connect device events and controls to flows, with MQTT and Home Assistant discovery available without a separate automation server.
Current RedMatic 9 requires CCU3 firmware 3.61.5 or newer and does not support CCU2. Dashboard, HomeKit and Matter nodes are optional installs; nodes needing native compiled dependencies cannot be installed on the hub. Back up the CCU before installing or migrating, especially when moving from RedMatic 7.
