Plug-inUse Homematic devices in local home automations
Homematic(IP) Local connects your CCU hub to Home Assistant, a home automation server, over your home network. It brings supported paired thermostats, switches, shutters and sensors into the same dashboards and routines as your other devices.
Use a supported CCU with administrator access and allow its local communication ports. Home Assistant 2026.9 or later is required; Homematic IP devices also need CCU2 firmware 2.61.x or CCU3 firmware 3.61.x or later. The Access Point cloud and HCU1 use separate integrations.
