Self-hostedConnect Apple TV to MQTT home automations
pyatv MQTT Bridge links Apple TV remote commands and playback state to an MQTT message broker used by home automation systems. It runs on your own host and reaches the TV over the local network through pyatv.
You need a running MQTT broker, a paired Apple TV and the bridge's Node or Docker installation. Its power command can toggle an already-sleeping TV on, so automations must check the reported power state before sending it.
- Control it from Home Assistant or my computer
- Publish Apple TV state to MQTT topics
