GEA2 Home Assistant Adapter
FirmwareRead older appliances through their local service port
This firmware reads older GE appliances through the GEA2 serial service port and sends the readings to your own MQTT message broker. It discovers readable registers, saves the polling list and forwards supported control writes.
You need a compatible FirstBuild adapter, an MQTT broker and model-specific entity definitions. Evidence covers a refrigerator control-board test and GeoSpring water heaters; the author points owners to the related ESPHome bridge for further development.
