FirmwareFridge temperatures and door alarms without SmartHQ
ESPHome GEA reads and controls supported GE appliances through their GEA2 or GEA3 service port. Its refrigerator configuration brings fridge and freezer temperatures, setpoints, door alarms and filter readings into Home Assistant, a home automation server.
You need an ESP32 and a compatible GEA adapter, then a configuration matched to your appliance. It uses your local network without a SmartHQ account; other included configurations cover a dishwasher, a laundry combo, a dryer, an oven and water heaters.
